VIDEO: The Making of Stained Glass Prayer Windows

The Artistic Process ~ The All Things Bright and Beautiful stained glass prayer window was created in 2006 by artists Ruth and Hunter Nesbit as a memorial to families that have lost children. Hunter was involved with the colours and fabrication, and Ruth on the drawings (paper and on glass), as well as the abstract bronze crucifixion.

During the process of making the window, some families would come and watch and check up on the progress of the artwork. This can be remembered as a sort of grieving period, with this process taking over a year from start to installation.
